Jewel for Emerald Cruises
The Emerald Sakara expands the fleet
Fans of the luxury cruise line Emerald Cruises will have to be patient a little longer. But the time will finally come in the first quarter of 2023. That's when the Emerald Sakara, the latest addition to the fleet, will set sail for the first time. Her maiden voyage will take her to the Seychelles.
Steel cut for a superyacht
The Emerald Sakara, whose name translates from Sanskrit as "thoughts become facts", has already celebrated its steel cut. Now it's time to build the ship. Like the Emerald Azzura, her sister ship, she is also a promise to cruisers. The promise of service, of space, of luxury. Guests in the cabins will have more space in the "Reflections" restaurant and in the "Horizon Bar & Lounge" than on comparable ships of a similar size. They can relax in the large infinity pool as well as in the spa. For those days when you want to beat the calories, there is a fitness room and a platform with a range of water sports equipment. 88 percent of the cabins will have a balcony.
"Since the announcement of Emerald Azzura, we've had tremendous demand for cruises, so we're thrilled to announce the construction of our second luxury superyacht, Emerald Sakara," enthused David Winterton, Global Director of Brand & Marketing, Emerald Cruises. "We love this idea, which underscores Emerald Cruises' brand promise to make our guests' dreams of a luxury yacht vacation come true at an exceptional value."
And the price of the 32 superyacht departures that can now be booked is quite something. It includes numerous inclusive services, such as all meals, complimentary wines, beers and non-alcoholic drinks with lunch and dinner, as well as a range of excursions and activities on board. "Just as we did on the rivers eight years ago, we are now bringing our own style of innovative and contemporary cruising to the world's legendary oceans. We can't wait to welcome guests aboard our two superyachts to explore some of the world's most extraordinary regions," says Winterton.
In this respect, the maiden voyage marks the start. During this eight-day voyage, guests will sail in style to the "Tropical Charms of the Seychelles". During the voyage, guests will explore Port Victoria on the main island of Mahé, Sainte-Anne Island, Cousin Island, Praslin Island, Grande-Soeur Island, Curieuse Island, La Digue Island and Aride Island. The Emerald Sakara then travels to the Mediterranean, the Adriatic, the Red Sea and the Black Sea.
