Sens summer residence of the star chefs: The summer season has begun. The Vitznauerhof has been bringing the Riviera lifestyle back to Lake Lucerne since March 8, 2024. The four-star lifestyle hotel has once again managed to surprise guests this year with new gastronomy concepts, new looks and legendary summer parties. While there is still snow in other places, it is already espadrille weather again in Vitznau;

What's even better than a star chef? Many star chefs.
Formerly Jeroen Achtiens Sens will become the Sens summer residence from June 2024. As a pop-up platform for the hottest chefs from all over the world, exciting taste experiences as well as fascinating people and their stories will be temporarily housed in the striking house by the lake. True to the motto "The stage is yours", internationally renowned chefs will be on hand during the summer months. One of the highlights can already be revealed at this point: Marcel Koolen will be bringing a bit of nostalgia and a lot of new things with him in July and August, from Sunday to Tuesday. The talented chef helped Jeroen Achtien rise through the ranks at Sens as sous chef before moving to 7132 Silver in Vals at the end of 2020. His impressive career culminated last year when he took over as head chef and confidently defended his two Michelin stars. A summer residence guest that makes sense, just like the name of the pop-up: "Silver makes Sens"

Workcation was yesterday: Executive Chef Ruud Oosdijk welcomes his guests to Restaurant Inspiration for the entire season from March 8 to December 31, 2024. He lives regionality with full conviction - he knows which beef from Mount Rigi ends up on his table. But non-meat eaters will also get their money's worth. All dishes are vegetarian or vegan and can be supplemented with a matching meat or fish component;
Ruud also spoils you at Sens from March to June and from September to December. The restaurant can be booked in an exclusive setting for private groups of up to 30 people. The kitchen team can be seen over the shoulder while cooking - anyone who likes can help out. The transition to the aperitif is seamless and starts directly in the kitchen. The food is the finest from the region. The party really gets going outside on the private jetty with a DJ. Whether it's a day or overnight visit, the Swiss Gourmet Riviera is the perfect place to spend a lakeside break - get away from it all, bring your paddleboard and start enjoying yourself.

Moodboard: Amalfi, Como, Riviera: Its large panoramic terrace with jetty on the shores of Lake Lucerne is particularly popular. The makeover follows this summer. The briefing for the interior designer was quickly clear to host and Karl Wild's Hotelier of the Year 2023, Raphael Herzog: "The terrace should fit in even more with our Mediterranean lifestyle - also in terms of its&nbsplook. Bright, airy, light, a few bold color accents and a touch of retro chic.". Dominique Haslebacher, owner of Rive Nord, will implement this aesthetically and practically with selected it-pieces and thanks to her many years of experience in the hotel industry;

Many rooms also have a new design.
The wallpapers with lush patterns of flora and fauna are kept subtle and calm in color. The floor in a fine wood look harmoniously rounds off the elegant, homely atmosphere. The interior of the bar has also been gently and harmoniously coordinated with the new look. Because the Vitznauerhof team knows that nothing can outshine the fantastic view of the shimmering lake and the lush green wooded mountains. With even more lounging space for relaxing, the rare rainy days can be easily bridged. The gym has been equipped with new Nohrd equipment. The sporty design pieces made of wood work without electricity and only with water and muscle power.
