For the 130th birthday
you can treat yourself to something really special. That's what the owners of Hotel Pierer, located on the Teichalm in Styria, thought. Just in time for the anniversary, a new wine vault was opened in the traditional 4-star superior hotel. Spread over three levels, around 8,000 fine wines are stored here - from the Pierer's own wines to coveted local brandies and well-known international wines, which can also be tasted and purchased on site.


Sounds wonderful, but there's more to come.
For example, during a visit to the 5,000 m2 Almspa with infinity pool, panoramic sauna, outdoor Jacuzzis, yoga and treatment rooms as well as a large garden area with "Almstrand". The Alminarium, where fine natural cuisine is celebrated with regional and seasonal ingredients, is no less enjoyable.
