Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus Celebrates Its Return

A piece of the city's history

Since its opening in 1955, the Hilton Istanbul Bosphorus has been more than just a first-class hotel—it is a piece of the city’s history. Royal families, global celebrities, diplomats, and visionaries have stayed, negotiated, and celebrated here. The hotel pioneered Turkey’s first happy hour and has witnessed seven decades of cultural change along the Bosphorus. This spring, it reopens its doors following a comprehensive renovation: 475 rooms and suites, all with balconies or terraces, now welcome both old and new guests. The Imperial Suite pays its own unique tribute to the hotel’s iconic dome with a daring architectural design. A new lounge with a terrace brings life to the lobby—and the Jazz Bar sets the perfect evening mood. In addition, there are a number of first-class restaurants, an exclusive executive lounge, one of the city’s largest outdoor pools, as well as a gym and spa. It sounds like a grand reopening, but it’s meant to feel like coming home. So, in that spirit, “Welcome back, old friend”!
