Opened in January 2020, Palmaïa, The House of AïA is a beachfront wellness retreat in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, known for its unique, transformative and progressive wellness concept. The focus is on the connection between people and nature.

The hotel's flagship fine-dining restaurant LEK serves Mexican cuisine; Mar de Olivio serves redefined Mediterranean cuisine; and the Oriental fusion restaurant Ume combines Thai and continental cuisine for à la carte dinners with sensual scents and exotic flavors. Su Casa, an integrated beach bar and restaurant in the dunes, offers a relaxed Caribbean beach ambience, while Charly's Vegan Tacos is an authentic food truck experience.

The holistic experience is complemented by breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea with 234 oceanfront suites with private terraces. There are swim-out suites with direct access to one of the hotel's four infinity pools and meditation suites that offer a tranquil space for guests who wish to focus on their meditation or yoga practice during their stay.

The Palmaïa Architects of Life program includes transformative wellness experiences for the body and mind, such as sound healing, gravity control, sun observation, various yoga practices, mandalas and more - all led by the hotel's healers. Each guest is also assigned a Nomadic Guide who will attend to their needs throughout their stay.

Activating and harmonizing the nine energy centers in the body is the foundation of the resort's Atlantis Jungle Spa, which is located in the middle of the jungle with a cenote. The treatment rooms and fitness room give the feeling of being immersed deep in a green jungle. A unique treatment is the Temazcal Ceremony, an ancient, life-changing ceremony led by a shaman that purifies the body, mind and soul.
