Hamburg Cruise Days 2022

The date is fixed

The eighth edition of the Hamburg Cruise Days will take place from August 19 to 21, 2022. A good year before the major event, which attracted around 500,000 visitors in 2019, talks with sponsors and partners are in full swing. For example, the participation of light artist Michael Batz, who was responsible for the Blue Port light artwork in the port in previous event years, is planned. "We are also hoping for the support of numerous sponsors in the coming year, above all the shipping companies, who significantly enrich the event with their participating ships and the presentation on land," explains organizer Uwe Bergmann. "In addition to first-class entertainment, we always see it as our task to use the Hamburg Cruise Days to provide impetus for topics that move the industry and the city," says Bergmann. "The event will also provide a platform for dialog in 2022."

The major event was originally planned for September 2021, but had to be postponed due to the pandemic, a lack of sponsors and the inability to plan an event of this size.
