Grand Hotel in new splendor

Grand Hotel Brioni, Pula

With the opening of the Grand Hotel Brioni Pula, A Radisson Collection Hotel, the luxury lifestyle brand Radisson Collection makes its debut in Croatia.

The hotel is dramatically situated on a cliff on the Adriatic Sea overlooking the Brijuni Islands, which were the inspiration for the hotel's name. It offers 227 rooms, infinity pools, several restaurants and bars as well as spectacular health and wellness facilities.

Originally built in the 1970s, the hotel was one of the most famous tourist meccas in the former Yugoslavia. In its heyday, with direct flights from the United States to Pula in the 1970s, it was often a haven for many celebrities, including artists, movie stars and politicians.

The interiors designed by Studio 92 have the "wow" factor. The entire hotel features artwork by renowned Croatian artists, combining the heritage of this iconic hotel with the modernity of today and incorporating the striking colors of the surroundings.

The Grand Hotel Brioni Pula, A Radisson Collection Hotel has several restaurants and bars. With the freshness of ingredients at the heart of the local Mediterranean cuisine and a strong focus on quality and provenance, all ingredients are sourced locally. The Brioni Forum restaurant serves international specialties with a focus on traditional recipes, always with an emphasis on fresh, local products such as truffles. The beach restaurant Brioni Lungo Mare offers a selection of Mediterranean meat and seafood specialties for a light meal. Fine dining awaits guests at Restaurant Sofia, the hotel's gourmet restaurant.

The Gemma di Brioni wellness center is the hotel's crowning glory. It extends over two floors with a whirlpool, three saunas and six treatment rooms. In addition to a 25-metre indoor pool, there is a 60-metre outdoor infinity pool with spectacular views of the sea. In the fitness area, guests can work out on top-class Technogym equipment.

Digital technologies are an integral part of the hotel experience and guests are encouraged to use their mobile devices to access all of the hotel's extensive services. This includes opening guest rooms with a mobile digital key and controlling air conditioning, TV and lighting from their own smartphone. Even before they enter the hotel, guests can check in online and go straight to their room on arrival.
