GOLDEN ERA OF THE 1970S
Hotel Pilgrim in Paris
Openness to the world, a passion for different cultures and visible traces of history characterize the interior of the Hotel Pilgrim in the cosmopolitan fifth arrondissement. Here, the past of Paris has been transformed into a contemporary place. An eclectic place that arouses curiosity and draws visitors into the creative vortex of the 1970s. A place where the exposed concrete that was once part of a garage has been reborn through a decoration rich in inviting vintage fabrics. An eclectic space that captures the creative spirit of the 1970s.
The hotel's public areas have the feel of a contemporary art gallery, yet are warm and cozy. The main lobby, with its natural and refined decoration, leads to the lounge, where 1970s sofas, coffee tables and a steam electric fireplace welcome travelers. In this majestic space with its window fronts overlooking an open-air terrace with a mural fresco by Redfield & Dattner, everyone (hotel guests or not) can have breakfast or enjoy a coffee while waiting for their next meeting - or simply take advantage of the quiet atmosphere to work undisturbed. A roof terrace on the seventh floor offers a 360-degree view over the city.
The 53 rooms are spread over six floors, two of which are brand new. Divided into four categories ranging from 13 m² to 44 m², they are cleverly designed to make the most of the available space. The lighting in each room emphasizes the warm tones of the natural and refined materials that are so characteristic of the hotel. Here too, external artworks and historical photos of Paris adorn the walls. Some rooms have special features such as a private terrace, a walk-in shower in double bed format or a "Swiss" floor plan where adjacent rooms are connected by a connecting door to provide extra privacy for families or friends traveling together.
Guests can relax next to the lounge fireplace and enjoy the excellent cocktails at the hotel bar. Alceste Siobhan Von Holz has used her considerable talents as a
mixologist to create a cocktail list that is full of surprises and has the iconic drinks of the 1970s as its main theme. Accompanying snacks, including savory tarts, have been specially created to match the Pilgrim cocktails and come from patisserie Tartelettes, collaborating with a hotel for the first time.
The Spa & Fitness area includes a fully equipped gym, a steam room and a 37 m² swimming pool. A variety of massages and specific procedures are offered here.
