Facelift at Tegernsee
Parkhotel Egerner Höfe celebrates reopening after major refurbishment
After nine months of complete renovation, the baby is perfect: the symbolic ribbon was cut at the Parkhotel Egerner Höfe on July 26 as part of a festive opening ceremony by the owner family Ehrmann together with hotel director Pierre Laurent Schäfer and star chef Thomas Kellermann. Among the invited guests were the President of the State Parliament Ilse Aigner, friends of the family Saskia Greipl-Konstantinidis and Stavros Konstantinidis as well as locals and partners of the Parkhotel. The Parkhotel in Rottach-Egern will officially welcome guests again from mid-August.
"We are delighted that we can now present our Parkhotel Egerner Höfe, which has been redesigned with so much passion, commitment and attention to detail over the past few months, to our guests and that we can once again pursue our vocation as hosts," explains Hotel Director Pierre Laurent Schäfer, "many thanks also to our owner family Ehrmann, who have taken each of our employees on this exciting journey and allowed them to share in the common vision for our Egerner Höfe."
The nature-loving hotel in the middle of a 5,000 square meter hotel park with a view of the forest and meadow pays homage to the region, yet has a contemporary, modern look. Those seeking peace and quiet can indulge themselves - even on a daily basis - in the new Mangfall Spa, gourmets will appreciate the Restaurant Dichter under the culinary direction of Thomas Kellermann and the new heart of the hotel - the stylish KostBar - lives up to its name.
