Eva Air: Economy Deluxe
More comfort for travelers to Asia
" EVA Air " is expanding its cabin offering - and will also be pampering its passengers on the Vienna-Taipei route with the new Premium Economy Class from November.
EVA Air presented the fourth generation of its award-winning Premium Economy Class seats back in February: The design concept with an industry-leading seat pitch of over one meter transforms the flight from an "upgrade economy" standard into a comfortable experience that creates a business class feeling. The new Premium Economy can already be booked on routes from Taipei to Jakarta, Munich and Milan, among others.
From November, passengers to and from Vienna will also be able to enjoy the comfortable intermediate class. "We are delighted that we will be offering Premium Economy Class, which is so popular with passengers and in such high demand, with the 2025/2026 winter flight schedule. This will make the connection between Vienna and Asia even more attractive," says Edward Ho,
General Manager EVA Air Austria and CEE. EVA Air was the first airline worldwide to introduce an intermediate class. Since then, the focus has always been on innovations that are geared towards the needs of passengers. The new Premium
Economy Class has 28 seats arranged in a 2-3-2 configuration. The headrests, armrests and footrests are upholstered in high-quality leather, and each seat is equipped with high-resolution 15.6-inch widescreen monitors and a multifunctional entertainment system. The cradle recline mechanism allows the seat cushion to slide forwards and upwards at the same time, achieving a comfortable recline of over 20 centimetres. At the same time, the space for the passenger behind is maintained. EVA Air flies daily from Vienna to Taipei. From November 3, 2025, the airline will offer Premium Economy Class on its non-stop flights from Vienna to Taipei three times a week - on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. www.evaair.com
