Silver Nova introduces suites

It had been announced for some time that the Silver Nova would outshine all previous suites on cruise ships. Now the first images prove that passengers can indeed look forward to innovative rooms with plenty of space. The 364 suites in 13 categories follow a completely new design approach.

The leading ultra-luxury cruise line is ushering in a new era of ship design. It is the first ship in Silversea's history to offer suites that span the entire length of the ship. The four-deck-high superstructure was conceived by architect Giacomo Mortola and his office GEM. Mortola, who was honored as a "Legend of Design" at the first Cruise Ship Interiors Awards, can already look back on over forty years of experience and many years of collaboration with Silversea. Although he was inspired by the "quiet luxury" of the previous fleet, "With the Silver Nova, we had the opportunity to create something that is truly ground-breaking in the industry," says the architect.

The crowning glory of Silversea's newest fleet member will be the Otium Suite. With 123 square meters of living space, it is not only the largest in the suite collection, but also occupies a premium position. It is located directly at the stern. The 270-degree view from the floor-to-ceiling windows falls directly onto the sea from all living areas. All suites have a private balcony. However, the Otium Suite scores with its private whirlpool.

Luxury hotel on the world's oceans

As in the other suites - all between 33 and 123 square meters in size - custom-made luxury mattresses, flat-screen televisions, a sound system with Bluetooth connection and an espresso machine complete the facilities. Light-flooded interiors, extremely spacious bathrooms, some with a bathtub or whirlpool, and a tasteful color palette in which white and beige tones predominate, make every suite on the Silver Nova a luxurious hideaway on the high seas.
