The Hettegger host family is the third generation to run the luxurious resort with great warmth and dedication and ensures a personal and cozy atmosphere throughout the hotel every day. Guests are welcomed in a modern design with spacious alpine-style suites, and you can feel the comfort as soon as you arrive.

Spring awakening in the valley of alpine pastures

Nature around DAS EDELWEISS will soon be coming back to life and the Grossarl Valley offers hiking enthusiasts a true paradise. Hike In - Hike Out: Thanks to the exclusive location, numerous hiking trails can be explored directly from the hotel, leading through picturesque landscapes and past traditional alpine huts. With its extensive and well-signposted routes, the valley is also ideal for family excursions. The varied flora and fauna as well as the impressive mountain panoramas make every hike an unforgettable experience. The numerous traditional mountain huts are particularly attractive, where hikers can enjoy regional delicacies and relax. No less than 40 alpine pastures can be found around our hotel, which is why the Grossarl Valley is often referred to as the "valley of alpine pastures".

An absolute highlight, especially after an extensive hiking tour, is the 7,000 m² EDELWEISS Mountain Spa with separate adults-only and family areas. The two outdoor pools with views of the breathtaking Grossarl mountains as well as the spacious sauna area and the cozy relaxation rooms offer plenty of space for relaxation. In fine weather, the unique sun terrace invites you to linger and enjoy.

The indoor slide park, which extends over three floors, promises pure fun and action for the whole family. There is also a modern indoor pool, a baby and toddler area and cozy cuddle corners. Families also have access to textile saunas and a whirlpool. Children can really let off steam in the EDELWEISS children's world with its four different areas. There is a suitable fun and games program for every age group and our caring childminders will be happy to look after your little ones.

Gourmet pleasure at the highest level

Guests at the EDELWEISS Mountain Cuisine are treated to culinary delights of the highest order. Great importance is attached to the use of regional products and guests can choose between a regional, vegetarian and international menu in the evening. The two-toque award-winning Sirloin Grill & Dine steak restaurant in particular makes gourmet hearts beat faster with its hearty steaks, which are prepared directly in the open show kitchen. In addition, deliciously fresh sushi creations are prepared daily at the in-house sushi bar. Wine lovers get their money's worth in the "Kork & Gloria" with adjoining wine archive.
