On a 40-meter-high cliff

and in the immediate vicinity of some of the most beautiful and spectacular surfing hotspots in Europe is the new Aethos Ericeira. The hotel on the north-west coast of Portugal has 50 rooms and suites, its own yoga and meditation deck and a spacious spa area with sauna, hammam, pools, gym and various treatment rooms.

promises the ONDA restaurant with terrace by the sea. The 50 rooms and suites of the new Aethos are spread across an old farmhouse, which has been adapted in a contemporary and stylish way by the multi-award-winning design studio Astet from Barcelona. In line with the target group, an interior concept was implemented that appeals above all to "nomads who love surfing but also appreciate effortless luxury" (Astet head designer Ala Zreigat). Passionate surfers also have their own "surf concierge" at their disposal, who sends daily updates on the best hotspots to guests' cell phones.
