Debut with Mango

LXR Hotels & Resorts comes to the Seychelles

With LXR Hotels & Resorts, Hilton has created a fine collection of independent luxury hotels. And this collection is now celebrating its latest addition with the opening of Mango House in the Seychelles. The intimate and exclusive island oasis promises a unique Seychelles experience in the south of Mahé.

From house to hotel

41 guest rooms, suites and villas with a direct view of the ocean await guests on the edge of the crystal-clear and tranquil Anse Aux Poules Bleues bay. Anyone arriving here immediately feels comfortable and at ease - almost like at home. And that is no coincidence. The hotel was originally the family home of the famous Italian photographer Gian Paolo Barbieri. The idyllic hideaway boasts a secluded location and typical island decor. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature, clear sea and white sandy beaches. Like all members of LXR Hotels & Resorts, every element of Mango House is connected to the environment. The focus is on sustainability and supporting local businesses.
"We are thrilled to bring this incredible property to life, which will bring a truly unique guest experience to the coast of Mahé," said Jochem-Jan Sleiffer, President, Middle East, Africa and Turkey at Hilton. "The archipelago has long been a sought-after destination for discerning travelers who visit the islands for their vibrant tropical atmosphere and world-class hospitality. From immersive cultural experiences and bespoke service to locally inspired F&B concepts, guests will be captivated by all that Mango House has to offer."
With the debut of LXR Hotels & Resorts in the Seychelles, an intimate luxury hotel joins the portfolio, offering guests five world-class restaurants and bars alongside a spa. The offer ranges from the lively pool bar and the Indian-Seychellois Kokoye Bar to the Creole-Mediterranean-inspired Muse restaurant, Azido and Moutya. While freshly caught seafood and Japanese influences celebrate wonderful fusions with contemporary cuisine at Azido, guests can experience the finest of Creole cuisine at Moutya.
Two pools, a special program for children, a wide selection of curated experiences for adults - such as sunset yoga sessions and hikes through Mahé's lush forests - an extensive range of water sports and a state-of-the-art gym provide guests at Mango House with unforgettable vacation moments. The Cliff House, the largest villa in the Seychelles, is ideal for an exclusive stay. It is equipped with a private pool and consists of a cluster of 13 guest rooms.
