Debut of the Emerald Azzura
Superyacht launches in Saudi Arabia
Emerald Cruises, the sister shipping company of Scenic Cruises, is celebrating a special debut in the first quarter of 2022. This is when the Emerald Azzurra will set sail on its first maiden voyage. The luxurious yacht is the first of its kind in the Emerald Cruises portfolio.
Yacht experience in a class of its own
The key data of the new superyacht from Emerald Cruises promise absolute luxury on the high seas. Only 100 guests per cruise have the opportunity to experience the ship. Of course, there are no inside cabins. In other words, there are actually no cabins at all. Guests on the Emerald Azzurra stay in luxurious suites. Even the smallest of them are almost 20 square meters in size. The two Owner's Suites even have 110 square meters, including an outdoor terrace, living room and bedroom.
64 crew members look after the well-being of their guests on the 110-meter yacht. Speaking of well-being: the yacht's spa is also dedicated to this. In addition to treatments, guests can also enjoy a sauna, a fitness studio, a pool area, a hairdresser and an observation lounge. Masterfully prepared delicacies are served in the Reflections Restaurant.
Special routings are on the program for their maiden voyages: these are new tours that the shipping company has never offered before. And Emerald Azzurra is one of the very first providers to bring a cruise yacht to Saudi Arabia. The "Mysteries & Treasures" voyage departs on February 14, 2022 and takes a ten-day route via Limassol on Cyprus, Port Said and the Suez Canal to the Red Sea. Another stopover will be Petra in Jordan, after which the ship will call at Saudi Arabia. The port city of Duba and Al Wahj are on the program.
The next voyage begins on March 18. The Emerald Azzurra and its guests will then head to the "Ancient Wonders of the Red Sea and Mythical Greece". From Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, they will once again travel to Al Wahj and Duba, followed by Aqaba, Sharm-el-Sheikh, Ain Sokhna near Cairo and the Greek destinations of Crete. Santorini and Athens are next in line. Guests can look forward to excursions to the Great Pyramids of Giza and glass-bottom boat trips in Egypt.
