Constance Moofushi renovated

The luxurious island resort in the South Ari Atoll has been given a facelift

The Constance Moofushi, known to many travelers as a diving paradise, is now even more attractive. The resort, which from a bird's eye view is reminiscent of a green pearl in the Indian Ocean, now has a new, luxurious yet very natural look.

Upgrade for guests

Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet, better known as Studio MHNA, were responsible for the renovation. They were inspired by the natural colors of the surroundings. Shades of green and blue now predominate not only outside, but also inside the resort. "It was particularly important for us to preserve and protect the dreamlike natural style of Constance Moofushi. We achieved this by using natural materials such as recycled glass, wood, raffia and shells. Some of the materials have been intricately combined with colorful fabrics and materials. This creates a vibrant and unique look that radiates happiness and joie de vivre," say the two well-known interior designers.

From now on, guests can enjoy a new room concept that encourages daydreaming and invites them to unwind. Shades of blue and green are joined by fawn and ivory colors, stripes and fish patterns and coral-inspired details round off the new living concept at Constance Moofushi. "The authentic and contemporary decoration, which reflects the nature that has always surrounded us, has given our island paradise a modern reinterpretation. The details are fascinating, you can find everything in the decoration that makes a perfect Maldives vacation: white sand, coconut palms and the turquoise color of the sea," says Henri Arnulphy, General Manager of the resort.
But not only the decoration is new; furniture has also been replaced. They provide freshness and modernity. These include lamps on ropes, shell chandeliers and an old Citroen snack van, which has been placed next to a brand new grill lounge. The renovations aim to make guests forget their everyday worries. True to the island motto "No shoes, no bad news". Of course, the renovation is not the only good reason to visit. The 56 Water Villas, 30 Senior Water Villas and 24 Beach Villas offer luxurious facilities, while the eco-resort with barefoot gastronomy also has two restaurants, two tropical bars, lectures by marine biologists, cookery courses, water sports and biomarine treatments in the spa with a view of the crystal-clear sea.
