Capri's new Numero Uno

where Capri's first hotel opened 200 years ago, the new Hotel Palma has been welcoming guests since the end of June. It is the eleventh hotel in the legendary Oetker Collection - and the first for which designer star Francis Sultana was responsible. Just a few steps away from the Piazzetta, the 50 rooms and suites present themselves as luxurious hideaways in shades of white and beige. The eye-catcher in the hall is a large ceiling fresco by Italian artist Roberto Ruspoli.
No less artistic
are the other valuable paintings scattered throughout the hotel. A visit to the roof terrace promises relaxation at the highest level (in the truest sense of the word).

is a visit to the three restaurants and bars under the direction of two-star chef Gennaro Esposito. And then there's the glamorous La Palma beach club at Marina Piccola, which became the hottest new address on the island shortly after it opened.
