Cap Karoso

Good across borders

Beach resort? Organic farm? Design hotel? Artist residence? Cultural center?
Cap Karoso, located on the Indonesian paradise island of Sumba, is all of these and much more. This makes the hideaway, which is one of the DesignhotelsTM, one of the most unusual hotels in the region - and the perfect contrast to the island of the gods, Bali, just an hour's flight away. Cap Karoso is home to 67 studios, suites and villas.

They range in size from 42 to 270 m2,
furnished in purist Asian style with local handicrafts and, depending on the category, have their own infinity pools, gardens, yoga and Pilates cabanas as well as up to three bedrooms and private beach access. Guests can book tailor-made experiences under the motto "The Wild", "The Calm", "The Indulgence" and "The Family".

The offer ranges from
a visit to the Cap Karoso Farming School, temple and jungle tours, weaving workshops or rides on the primitive Sumba ponies.
