Situated at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser, the Stanglwirt sees itself as a retreat against the dream backdrop of the Wilder Kaiser. The Hauser host family's connection to the region and their close-to-nature attitude to life are reflected throughout the hotel. Under the motto of down-to-earthness and luxury, they run a hotel with traditional innovation and great attention to detail that delights wellness vacationers, sports enthusiasts, nature lovers and connoisseurs alike, whether single, couples or families. 
The Hauser family has been at the helm of the Stanglwirt for more than 300 years. The inn is the still unchanged nucleus of the refuge, which has now grown to twelve hectares. In keeping with the tradition of the region, the original building style can be found throughout the hotel. Construction is uncompromisingly ecological and the most important building material at the Stanglwirt is local Swiss stone pine. 
Guests can expect 170 stylish rooms and suites, all of which are lovingly furnished in a traditional style with the character of a parlor and equipped throughout with high-quality natural materials. Most of them offer an unobstructed view of the Wilder Kaiser mountain range or Stanglwirt highlights such as the sheep pasture and the Lipizzaner stud farm.

Wellness & Spa: The spacious rock wellness worlds on 12,000 square meters with panoramic views, pool and sauna landscapes, offer a quiet place to relax at any time of day. The rock grottos and waterfall, built from rock straight from the Wilder Kaiser, create a unique and natural beauty in the valley. Relaxation can be enjoyed in five themed saunas, two steam baths and idyllic relaxation rooms with cozy retreats.
Younger guests can enjoy their own area in the 1,000 square meter children's water world, which is also designed with natural materials, where they can play to their heart's content;
The Stanglwirt Spa also reflects the hosts' connection to nature. In wonderfully luxurious rooms with magnificent views from floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, professional therapists pamper you with soothing massages, a wide range of facial treatments with Medical Beauty by Hollywood-Doc Dr. Barbara Sturm or even with their own highly innovative skincare line "TGC - The Good Conscious", developed together with international experts. Special body treatments are offered in the unique detox lounge, the hotel's own Ayurveda room and Thai rooms.

Fitness   Fitness, exercise and sport are very important at the Stanglwirt. The 500 m² fitness garden is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment from the international market leader LifeFitness and is open 24 hours a day. The three Bioharmonie experts, mental coach Mag.a. rer.nat. Inge Neuner, biomechanist Sascha Bauer and sports and health trainer Björn Schulz. 

Tennis & Golf The Stanglwirt has been offering professional tennis camps at the highest level for more than 40 years. A long-standing partner is the internationally renowned "Peter Burwash International Tennis School" (PBI), whose experts on site promote the game of each guest individually, from tactics to mental coaching. There are five indoor courts on Bross Line granulate and eight outdoor clay courts with a view of the Kaiser.
From April to October, golfers can practise their tee shots on the hotel's own driving range against the dream backdrop of the Wilder Kaiser. The training facility at the Golf Sport Academy Stanglwirt meets international PGA standards.

Riding & Lipizzaner stud Horse fans and riding holidaymakers can expect something very special at the Stanglwirt riding school: at Austria's first private Lipizzaner stud there are 24 beautiful Lipizzaners ready to take you on a unique riding experience. The Lipizzaner breeding which has been based at the Stanglwirt since 1980 is known far beyond the borders of the country and offers you the unique opportunity to complete your equestrian training and further education on a purebred "Kaiser horse".

Culinary delights Gourmets are spoiled in many ways at the Stanglwirt organic and wellness resort. Head chef Thomas Ritzer and his team focus on unadulterated natural products, served in a classic or creative-modern way. In the over 400-year-old "Stangl" inn - the gastronomic heart of this musical establishment - guests can enjoy a piece of genuine Tyrolean tradition on their plates and beyond. Another culinary highlight awaits you in the various parlors of the hotel restaurant. Both the Stanglwirt breakfast, which spoils you with many homemade delicacies from our organic farm and the daily changing, multi-course menus or themed buffet evenings leave nothing to be desired.

Children's farm Painting together, discovering nature through play, stroking rabbits, ponies and cats and watching an exciting nature movie in the stable cinema - the Stanglwirt's children's farm is a real paradise. The 200-year-old, beautiful farm is exclusively for the youngest guests and invites you to an adventurous and varied journey of discovery with a nature-loving playground including a new children's alpine pasture;
