The Martinhal Sagres Beach Family Resort with new relaxation spots

The Martinhal Family Hotels & Resorts pamper their guests in luxury. Singaporean-Swiss entrepreneurial couple Chitra and Roman Stern laid the foundations for the family luxury concept in 2010 with the Martinhal Sagres on the beach in the western Algarve. And this has been given an update this year.

Designer beach

The beach bar has a new design and a relaxation area has been created on the hotel's own extensive beach area. Only a few stone steps and the gardens separate the resort's guests from the wooden terrace in which the new beach hangout has been embedded. Parents and children can now enjoy time together and soak up the sun in even greater comfort. New beach chair shells, loungers and hanging swings invite you to hang out, play and relax. They not only provide shade, but are also great places to hide or cuddle up for a while. The successful concept of "happy children, happy parents" continues even on the beach. While the little ones dig in the sand, the chirping of crickets fills the air and the sun slowly sinks, parents can toast the end of another unforgettable family vacation with their sundowner.

In the newly designed beach bar, parents can enjoy a wonderful view of the bay of Martinhal. This is where the laid-back surfer charm of the Algarve comes into its own. Colorful signposts, lots of wood and a range of summery drinks and snacks accentuate the ambience.
