Ayurveda in the Alps

On your marks, get set, Namasté:

This November, the new
Engel Ayurpura Hotel
will be the first and only Ayurveda hotel in the Dolomites. "Ayur" stands for the ancient Indian healing teachings, "Pura" for purity and reduction, which are also reflected in the architecture of the hotel in South Tyrol's Val d'Ega. In addition to 15 rooms and suites, there are twelve Ayurveda treatment rooms, a yoga studio with a view of the forest, a cozy lounge with an open fireplace and a library. Lectures on mindfulness and health as well as various courses in meditative painting and floristry take place in the studio.

The spa area of the Engel Ayurpura Hotel includes a relaxation room and a tea lounge with a panoramic terrace and a view of the outdoor saltwater pool. In the rooftop relaxation room, you can relax on infrared-heated loungers and enjoy the panoramic view of the Dolomites. Top: After their stay, guests receive access to the "Ayurpura Care" online portal for free yoga classes, cooking courses, recipes and up-to-date information about Ayurveda.
