Anantara Stanley & Livingstone Victoria Falls: Built close to the water
Five-star retreat in a nature reserve
Not far from Victoria Falls and therefore in the immediate vicinity of one of Zimbabwe's most spectacular places , the Anantara Stanley & Livingstone Victoria Falls opened its doors a few weeks ago. The five-star retreat is located in the middle of a nature reserve and has just 16 suites. High-quality, regional cuisine is served in the gourmet restaurant, where breakfast, lunch and dinner can also be served on the terrace or in the garden on request. The "1871 Bar & Lounge" serves as a meeting place from early until late. Those who don't want to relax by the outdoor pool are spoiled for choice with the numerous activities on offer. The UNESCO World Heritage waterfalls, for example, entice visitors with boat trips or a dip in the Devil's Pool. There are also cable car rides over the Batoka Gorge, scenic helicopter flights and excursions to see the black rhinos in a nearby game reserve.
