Aman Resorts announces superyacht

Aman Resorts has announced its first luxury yacht. It is to emerge from a joint venture with Cruise Saudi called Sama and will set sail in 2025. She does not yet have a name.

The 183-metre-long ship will have 50 suites with private balconies as well as various restaurants, a club and a lounge. The design comes from the renowned Dutch design studio Sinot and is intended to reflect the eastern flair and design philosophy of Aman. The Aman Spa will have a Japanese garden, two helipads are also planned as well as a beach club at the stern with direct access to the water.

Aman Resorts currently operates 33 luxury hotels, resorts and private residences in 20 countries. The first property, Amanpuri, opened in 1988 on the west coast of Phuket. Eight further resorts are set to expand the portfolio to 41 resorts in 22 countries in the coming months. The new additions include the Aman New York in the Crown Building with 83 rooms and suites as well as the first urban Aman Residences and the Aman Nai Lert in Bangkok with 52 suites.
