AMADEUS River Cruises has opened the booking season for the 2027 travel year. The premium tour operator is expanding its range with 30 new excursions on selected European river routes - from Normandy to the Danube Delta. At the same time, trips can be booked for the first time on the new AMADEUS Mira , which will enter service in spring 2027 and complement the portfolio of the modern river fleet.

New cultural and culinary discoveries

For 2027, river travelers can choose from additional day trips in France, Holland, Germany, Austria and Bulgaria. The new programs take you to cultural highlights such as the Triberg waterfalls, Rothenburg ob der Tauber or on a discovery tour through Brussels with the Atomium and Cinquantenaire Park. Culinary experiences are also part of the expanded offer, including tastings of regional specialties, the art of brewing and wine tours in traditional wine cellars.

Active excursion package for active guests

For the first time, AMADEUS River Cruises will be offering its own active excursion package from 2027. This includes guided cycle tours through the Camargue or North Holland, e-bike excursions along the Danube in the Wachau and Klosterneuburg as well as hikes along the Seine in Rouen, on the Heidelberg Philosophers' Trail or through the Bulgarian Rusenski Lom Nature Park.

Newbuild AMADEUS Mira expands the fleet

The AMADEUS Mira, a new newbuilding, will enter service in spring 2027. The ship has 12 suites, spacious lounges and environmentally friendly technology. The program includes tulip cruises from Amsterdam, voyages from Trier to Passau, trips to the Danube Delta and a 15-day route from Amsterdam to Budapest. Early bookers benefit from attractive price advantages for the 2027 season, as well as for excursion packages that can be booked in advance.
