Air France
Even more comfort on the long haul
With the introduction of new standards
Air France is making flying even more enjoyable. The upgrades are already available on a number of Boeing 777-300ERs and will gradually be introduced on the newly delivered Airbus A350 from July 2023.
The new Business cabin for long-haul flights
revives the French style of travel with its elegance. With attentive service, gourmet cuisine developed by Michelin-starred chefs, a carefully selected wine and champagne list and a wide choice of in-flight entertainment, the journey can begin. Incidentally, Air France is celebrating its 90th anniversary in October. The future Airbus A350 aircraft will have the widest screen in the entire Air France fleet and a large touchpad screen for easy control of the seating environment in Business Class, as well as new pairing functions for connecting personal devices to the screen in all travel classes.
Seat becomes bed.
As part of Air France's upgrade, all long-haul business cabins will be equipped with seats that can be converted into a fully-fledged bed by the end of 2023. The seat has a sliding door that allows passengers to create a completely private space. To provide more privacy for passengers traveling together, the seats in the middle of the cabin are equipped with a drop-down center panel to create a sociable space. Air France has ordered a total of 41 Airbus A350-900s, 20 of which have already been delivered. The 21st A350 will be equipped with the new cabin configuration and will make its first commercial flight under the name "Aix-en-Provence" in July 2023. In the new configuration, the A350 has new cabins in all travel classes: 48 seats in Business, 32 seats in Premium Economy and 212 in Economy.
