First Grand Voyage of the Silver Nova
Sociable and casual elegance, exciting itineraries and every conceivable luxury: this is how passengers know and love the Silversea Cruises fleet. The Silver Nova, the newest member of the fleet, is no exception. As an all-suite ship, she also scores with ultra-luxury on the high seas. She now takes travelers on a 71-day Grand Voyage to a total of 38 destinations in 18 countries. The cruise price includes a comprehensive all-inclusive offer and Business Class flights.
On to new horizons
The journey starts on January 4, 2024 and during the cruise, which lasts more than two months, passengers will discover the highlights of South America. They will travel from Ilhabela in Brazil with its huge UNESCO biosphere reserve to the magical Amazon and Manaus, the tropical heart of the rainforest. The itinerary also includes Ushuaia at the southernmost tip of South America and the continent's impressive glaciers and fjords. Lima, Buenos Aires, Monte Video and Rio de Janeiro are also part of the journey. In Rio, the Silver Nova stays long enough for guests to experience Carnival in all its facets. The journey continues to the eastern Caribbean. There, the ship calls at the ports of Spanish Town, Castries and Bequia. The voyage ends in Fort Lauderdale/Florida on March 15, 2024.
Of course, there will also be plenty of cultural activities on offer for travelers during the 71-day tour. The extensive program of events on the Grand Voyage South America 2024 includes folklore shows, an individual tour of Callao Monumental in Peru, access to the best seats at Carnival in Rio, open-air opera at the Manaus Opera House and an exclusive day with the polo elite of Bridgetown.
Floating grand hotel
Passengers also have the opportunity to experience the rich culinary delights of the region. Both on board and ashore. This is ensured by S. A. L. T. The abbreviation stands for "Sea and Land Tasting". This is an innovative concept that combines food experiences on board and on land.
Speaking of "innovative": Silver Nova guests travel on one of the most environmentally conscious cruise ships ever built. Thanks to modern technological solutions, the ship is the first hybrid luxury cruise ship to produce zero emissions in port.
