3 Michelin stars at the Kulm Hotel

"the K" once again welcomes celebrity chef Mauro Colagreco

       

This winter in St. Moritz will once again be top-class. And not just in terms of skiing and luxury hotels. The Swiss resort will also be the place to be again this season in culinary terms. For the second time, the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz is welcoming Mauro Colagreco. The three-star chef will take over the culinary agendas of the pop-up restaurant "the K" from December 14, 2021 to March 19, 2022.

First address for gourmets


It didn't take long: just two months after opening, the chef was delighted to be awarded the first Michelin star in Switzerland. Since then, the restaurant has been the address for gourmets in Graubünden. No wonder, as the cuisine of the Argentinian-born chef with Italian roots has a lot to offer. He cannot be pinned down to one style. Neither in his restaurant "Mirazur" in the south of France nor in "the K". But one thing is always certain: Colagreco plays with the flavors of his surroundings. He conjures up culinary masterpieces from local specialties that leave a lasting impression.
Only the "time" factor is one that runs through Colagreco's menus. In both restaurants, he makes sure that there are no more than 15 minutes between courses. Sitting at the table all the time is anathema to him. The guests also love the star cuisine with a stopwatch. Even in his first year as a guest chef, Colagreco delighted diners with his creations. While his Chef de Cuisine Paloma Boitier normally oversees the implementation of his menus, Mauro Colagreco himself will be behind the stove of "the K" at the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz on selected dates.

"After 'the K by Mauro Colagreco' was already very popular with hotel guests last winter, I am all the more delighted to be able to welcome external guests to the restaurant again this year, so that even more guests can enjoy his Michelin-starred cuisine. For me, Mauro Colagreco stands for the highest art of culinary art, for explosions of flavor that do without a lot of fuss and elaborate decorations," says Heinz Hunkeler, General Manager of the Kulm Hotel, showering the star chef with roses.

Opening hours


The gourmet restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 7 pm. Those who book the "Mauro Colagreco Gourmet Package" receive a seven-course dinner (excluding drinks) and one or more nights' accommodation including breakfast buffet and use of the Kulm Sap.
