Kelly Hoppen is not only the favorite interior designer of VIPs such as the Beckhams, hotels (including The Murmuri, Barcelona) and cruise lines (Celebrity Edge) also rely on her creative skills. A prominent new addition to the Londoner's client list is the LUX* Grand Gaube in Mauritius. "Retro chic meets beach house charm" has been the motto at the trendy 5-star hotel overlooking Triple Bay since last December. Other innovations associated with the refresh include pop-up bars, retro ice cream carts and a beach cinema under palm trees. No less paradisiacal are the resort's newly designed gardens by star landscape architect Stephen Woodham.
