THE NEW ROLLS-ROYCE PHANTOM

When the first Rolls-Royce Phantom was presented by Sir Henry Royce in 1925, the vehicle was awarded the title "The best automobile in the world" by connoisseurs. Accordingly, over the past 92 years, the Phantom has accompanied some of the most influential and powerful men and women through their very special moments. Since then, each new Phantom has earned this title anew - through the pursuit of perfection, as a result of visionary engineering developments, aesthetic clarity and Rolls-Royce's deep understanding of what defines true luxury. For almost a century, the manufacturer has cultivated the philosophy of constantly setting new standards and fulfilling the wishes of the most discerning customers.

From today, the new benchmark will be the new Phantom - the eighth generation to proudly bear this name. The launch of a new car with a modern interpretation of the Phantom design DNA and a significant technological leap is not enough; Rolls-Royce is forging its own path in the luxury car industry with a new concept that deliberately does not rely on a platform strategy as used by other manufacturers. As the next chapter in Rolls-Royce's history begins, the new Phantom is leading the way for the entire luxury industry.

Peter Schwarzenbauer, Rolls-Royce Chairman and Member of the Board of Management of BMW AG, emphasized: "The launch of a new Rolls-Royce is always a very special moment for the BMW Group. This special occasion is even more significant as we unveil the new Phantom - the Rolls-Royce flagship, the world's leading luxury motor car. The new Phantom is a confident expression of our extensive design, development and Bespoke expertise. The feedback we have already received from many customers is very encouraging. The BMW Group is committed to the future of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and proud of what this great brand has already achieved since joining the company." While other luxury manufacturers have to realize cost reductions by sharing platforms with volume manufacturers, Rolls-Royce has concluded that the future of true luxury lies in small production numbers based on an independent "Architecture of Luxury". "This realization very clearly points the way forward for Rolls-Royce," explains Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars: "Every single one of our customers - each a connoisseur of true luxury - has asked us for more individuality. We are firmly convinced that we can fulfill this wish."
