Zurich's most traditional perfumery shines in new splendor

Founded in 1921, the Osswald family business opened its doors on October 24 at its original location at Bahnhofstrasse 17 near Paradeplatz following extensive renovations. The perfumery, which is well-known beyond the country's borders, now boasts a high-quality appearance that offers customers an exclusive shopping experience that can stand up to international comparison.


The Bahnhofstrasse location is an eminently important USP for Parfümerie Osswald.
When the opportunity arose at the beginning of 2018 to rent vacant premises at the rear of the building, Managing Director Tanja Dreiding Wallace did not hesitate to take it over. This enabled the perfumery to be expanded by around 30 square meters - a third of the existing store space. The premises were designed in warm natural colors and earth tones, creating a homely yet elegant ambience. The carefully curated range of selected niche fragrances, luxury care products and accessories has been given more space and can now be prominently displayed thanks to new visualization options. Perfumery Osswald also focuses on personal and individual advice. In addition, comfortable seating has been created where customers can relax with refreshments and a coffee. Tanja Dreiding Wallace, Managing Director and granddaughter of company founder Boris Dreiding, explains: "These days, our customers want more than just to do their shopping. They want an exceptional experience and a perfect all-round service. Thanks to the renovation and expansion of our business premises, we can now fully cater to these wishes."


Premiere for exclusive La Prairie Lounge
Another premiere in the new Osswald Perfumery is the opening of the world's first La Prairie Lounge in the luxury brand's new design, which to date can only be admired in a few selected stores. The design embodies the essence of timelessness and is inspired by authentic, refined and elegant contemporary Swiss architecture. La Prairie thus creates a space of timeless beauty. There, customers can immerse themselves in a world of emotional experiences where time stands still and the quintessence of the brand - Swissness - is expressed at the same time.
