Panasonic comes up trumps with its LUMIX G top trio

Panasonic is upgrading its LUMIX G range and presenting its top trio: the G9, the GH5S and the GH5. The cameras impress with their fast autofocus and significantly improved image stabilizer. The GH5S as a professional video production camera and the G9 as a professional photo camera complete the LUMIX G line-up. Thanks to the image quality and fast response time, the cameras impress in the CHIP test* and lead the best lists in their category.


G9: Camera with professional standards
With the LUMIX G9, Panasonic has created a new top model in the DSLM class: thanks to improved resolution, gradation and color reproduction, the camera achieves the highest image quality of all LUMIX cameras to date. Continuous shooting is no problem thanks to the 6K photo function: the feature allows magical moments to be captured at 30 frames per second. Taking photos freehand is also no problem. Thanks to the dual image stabilizer - lens and sensor-side stabilization - images with significantly longer exposure times are possible. At 0.04 seconds, the top model also has the fastest autofocus speed of any camera of its type (DSLM). An illuminated status display on the top of the housing provides quicker camera control. The LUMIX G9 comes with a dual SD card drive and a rotating and tilting 7.5 cm LCD monitor. The camera also enables wireless remote control and instant image sharing through Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. The LUMIX G9 sets new professional standards and is particularly recommended for reportage, action and wildlife photography thanks to its solid and compact design.


GH5S: Low-light and video talent
With the LUMIX GH5S, Panasonic presents its new top video model among mirrorless system cameras. The new GH5S is the world's first camera to allow 4K 60p video recording in Cinema 4K format, with no time limit. The new 10 megapixel sensor with dual basic sensitivity reproduces even dark image areas in a differentiated and faithful way. Thanks to these low-light qualities, the LUMIX GH5S achieves optimum results even in very low light conditions. The camera is particularly appealing to professional filmmakers.


GH5: Hybrid professional for event photography and YouTube videos
The top trio is rounded off with the LUMIX GH5 launched in 2017: the hybrid professional still impresses today with its 20-megapixel image sensor, high-quality image processor, dual 5-axis image stabilization and fast autofocus.
