Mory Sacko at Louis Vuitton
Restaurant opening in Saint-Tropez
On June 17, 2022, the restaurant Mory Sacko at Louis Vuitton in Saint-Tropez opened its doors. In collaboration with LOUIS VUITTON, the young Michelin-starred chef and director of the MoSuke restaurant in Paris, Mory Sacko, launched a seasonal restaurant in the White 1921 Hotel on the famous Place des Lices, the beating heart of Varois. The elegant residence by the sea is an oasis of calm, far away from the summer tourist crowds. Here, African and Japanese influences meet the savoir-faire of French cuisine in a menu that spans the globe and is underpinned by meticulous precision.
In culinary terms, Mory Sacko has created a travel-inspired menu that combines local produce with inspiration from faraway lands. At lunchtime, the young chef offers a gourmet version of Ekiben, a famous Japanese bento. In the evening, the menu continues its journey of flavors with a tapas menu. Egg "misonnaise", vegetarian eggplant tacos, grilled amberjack, crayfish, ribs, rich tagines in ceramic bowls, accompanied by raw fennel and mango salad and plantains seasoned with smoked paprika... At Mory Sacko at Louis Vuitton in Saint-Tropez, local, predominantly plant-based cuisine is set against the backdrop of faraway destinations and combines authenticity with simplicity.
