Mik - the PACK EASY storyteller

Our new cooperation partner PACK EASY not only inspires on the international stage with perfect luggage solutions for every need & taste, but also with innovative storytelling - in the form of Mik! The red PACK EASY bird is much more than just a pretty logo for CEO Marion Klein and her team: Mik is the company's storyteller and provides customers and fans with the best information, insider tips and must-sees worldwide on the company's own blog.

And as we have already taken Mik to our hearts, we naturally don't want to withhold the feathered brand ambassador's origin story from you: Hatched in beautiful Lucerne, in the heart of Switzerland, 1961 was the year she saw the light of day and opened her beak for the first time. She did not remain a nestling for long and soon flew on to spread the idea of Swiss Travel Solutions internationally. Because what she wanted was to offer people out there luggage that was as light as her feathers and as durable as her patience. Thanks to continuous further development, PACK EASY and Mik were able to do great pioneering work and revolutionize the luggage market in the long term.

So the little red bird was as proud as a peacock when, at the tender age of 9, it was allowed to equip the Swiss Ski Team in Sapporo with luggage from PACK EASY. The skies opened up more and more, further partnerships followed, production was globalized and individualism and functionality were given top priority.

In 2003, the PACK EASY nest was enlarged by investing in infrastructure and logistics and the Swiss Service Center was established in Emmen. Since 2009, the second generation of PACK EASY, Marion Klein, has been at the helm, inspiring the world of Swiss Travel Solutions - always supported by storyteller Mik, of course.

As the saying goes, "the early bird catches the worm" - with this in mind, the PACK EASY mascot will continue to fly around alertly, discover new things and take off even higher with the idea of Swiss Travel Solutions. Since this year, the little red bird can also be found outside Europe: Mik's exciting journey continues with China, Iran and Korea!
