Louis Vuitton celebrates the art of traveling
Louis Vuitton illustrated books
Five fashion photographers present a city, a region or a country through their fashion-trained eyes: this fall, Louis Vuitton presents five new Fashion Eye titles that complement the existing collection of illustrated books of travel photography. Monte Carlo was stylishly and dynamically portrayed by the legendary German-Australian Helmut Newton, while the American Saul Leiter played with the visual language of New York in the second half of the 20th century by using multiple reflections. Peter Lindbergh, the German star photographer, shows his personal view of Berlin and deliberately dispenses with the usual clichés. The photographs by Norwegian Sølve Sundsbø offer a new, different view of the seemingly vast landscapes of British Columbia in Canada, while Vogue contributor Vincent van de Wijngaard captured the colors of light in Morocco.
