L'chaim in the Hochzillertal
When Israeli art, music and delicacies meet Tyrolean hospitality, the Hochzillertal ski region goes crazy
The Kristallhütte is turning
in the Israeli national colors white and blue, because on the weekend of February 3-4 it's Tel Aviv meets Snow.
On the first weekend in February
there will be Israeli flair at the Kristallhütte in the Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach ski region at an altitude of 2,147 meters: Tel Aviv meets mountains and snow. Guests will be spoiled with culinary delights this weekend by Israeli celebrity chef Eyal Shani and his team from the Miznon restaurant located directly on Vienna's Stephansplatz. They will be serving delicious Israeli street food such as stuffed pitas, roasted broccoli and cauliflower prepared the Israeli way.
For the perfect sound and atmosphere
will be provided by the DJ team Hectik & Turle, who will be flying in from Tel Aviv to play on the turntables until after sunset. In addition to the music, the Kristallhütte, which has already won several awards as the "cult ski hut of the Alps", provides its guests with another cultural treat. The Israeli artist Amnon Lipkin from Tel Aviv exhibits his very special works and even creates new ones: impressions sewn onto fabric on site - inspired by winter sports and nature - have the incomparable presence and clarity of fine charcoal drawings. The so-called "Sewing Art" and "Harel Luz Art" inspire winter sports enthusiasts in the Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach ski region and art fans all over the world.
In addition to the Israeli highlights
winter sports fans can enjoy the best conditions and an incomparable atmosphere in the Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach ski region, which was named test winner in the "5-star ski resort" discipline by Skiresort.de in 2017 for good reason. Up to an altitude of 2,500 meters, there are 90 kilometers of slopes that guarantee rapid descents in powder snow.
With events such as Tel Aviv meets Snow
the Kristallhütten team led by Stefan Eder has made a name for itself and made the hut one of the most popular in the Alps. Throughout the year, visitors can chill out in the cozy restaurant with open show kitchen and various parlors, on the spacious terrace with 360° panorama or in the modern winter garden deluxe and enjoy culinary delicacies such as Kristall-Kaiserschmarren, spinach dumplings or Zillertal tapas.
