The design of the Istoria interprets Mediterranean influences in an eclectic way. Rustic materials such as terracotta, wood and concrete characterize the rooms and are complemented by elegant, modern furniture. Consoles with marble surfaces, low-hanging ceramic lamps and decorative elements such as oversized stone jugs are reminiscent of the island's history. Black sand, olive trees, herbs and aloe vera reflect the natural landscape of Santorini. Traditional textiles and handmade woollen blankets lend the rooms warmth and comfort.

The twelve suites are divided into five categories and offer between 40 and 50 square meters of living space. Private terraces or gardens with pool and/or jacuzzi make each suite a personal oasis of retreat. The restored building has an authentic Greek feel with its characteristic arches, thick brickwork and traditional mosaic floors - an ambience in which even discerning travelers immediately feel at home.
