Host and chef Fadri Arpagaus

Exquisite taste reigns supreme here

The Berghuus Radons - a historic Maiensäss that was lovingly restored in 2020 - is located in the heart of the unspoilt mountain world of Graubünden at an altitude of 2000 meters. With twelve stylish rooms, high-quality old wood furnishings and heavenly beds, it offers a luxurious retreat with a view of the Graubünden mountain panorama.

Host and chef Fadri Arpagaus, whose culinary journey began in the Berghuus kitchen in 1989 when he prepared his first polenta at the age of six, has honed his skills in Europe, Asia and America. Today, he combines international specialties with Grisons classics at Berghuus, creating a unique fusion of flavors. Ingredients that have only just been picked are showcased, and the dishes are not just impressive for their decoration, but for what they contain.

The heart of the house is the historic "Ustereia" pine parlor. Here, Fadri treats his guests to local dishes with a hint of the wider world. His philosophy combines his attachment to his homeland with the influences of his international experience, which is reflected in the changing menus.
In addition to culinary delights, the Berghuus Radons offers unforgettable nature experiences. The untouched mountain world, shooting star nights and good conversation in front of the fireplace create extraordinary moments and a little living room feeling.
