Gourmet premiere in Dubai

First MICHELIN Guide Dubai 2022 has been published

The very first MICHELIN Guide Dubai presents a total of 69 restaurants from 21 cuisines, including 14 restaurants with a Bib Gourmand award, one restaurant with a MICHELIN Green Star, nine with a MICHELIN star and two with two MICHELIN stars.

From fine dining to street food, the MICHELIN Guide Dubai - the latest addition to the 35 culinary destinations - provides a wide-ranging overview of a variety of restaurants in the vibrant mega-city and can be read as an endorsement and recognition of Dubai as a destination for foodies.

"The launch of the MICHELIN Guide Dubai will transform the destination and bring Dubai to the attention of food connoisseurs around the world," said Issam Kazim, Chief Executive Officer, Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing. The variety of cuisines represented in the restaurant selection reflects the more than 200 nationalities living in Dubai and caters to every taste - and budget.

Restaurants are awarded one MICHELIN star for "quality cuisine that is worth a stopover", two MICHELIN stars for "excellent cuisine that is worth a detour" and three MICHELIN stars for "exceptional cuisine that is worth a special trip".
