Enjoyable ski opening in Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach and Spieljoch

On December 17 and 18, two weeks after the start of the season, the Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach ski region and the Spieljoch ski area invite you to the fourth Ski Food Festival. Participants can expect three-course menus in 13 mountain restaurants. Each of the huts specializes in a different country, for example the sChic Bar in Norway, the Kristallhütte in Israel, the Firnhütte in Spain and the Wedlhütte in France. International celebrity chefs create dishes inspired by the cuisine of the respective country, including award-winning chef Gian Paolo Piacchere with an Italian menu at the Mountain Loft at the Spieljoch mountain station.

On the gourmet days, winter sports enthusiasts in the region will also receive free samples from 9 to 11 am at the lift stations. In order to enjoy the menus, the respective huts must be renovated.
