The gourmet event on Lake Garda
At Lake Garda Trentino, you can expect more than just a long beach, crystal-clear water and an almost endless range of activities and leisure options. In November, you can also look forward to a very special taste journey: the Garda con Gusto - Gourmet Experience will take place for the fifth time between November 1st and 3rd. You can look forward to culinary tricks from renowned star chefs and be enchanted by regional delicacies: for example, the northernmost extra virgin olive oil in the world, selected wines, carne salada (salted meat), delicious lake fish, broccoli from Torbole and even coffee. Here you can enjoy nothing but excellent quality - right in paradise.
Garda con Gusto is entering its fifth round: the event will take place from November 1 to 3, 2019 at the Palavela in Riva del Garda. This year's new features include Fuori Gusto and the "Caffetteria Italiana" with typical Italian breakfasts and tasty aperitifs. The event is a spectacular sensory journey through the culinary specialties of Lake Garda, where you can encounter the scent of Mediterranean aromas and taste the unique flavours of the Alpine region!
Numerous star chefs, journalists, producers and sommeliers are expected to attend. Among the 2019 guests are Alfio Ghezzi from Trentino, who was awarded two Michelin stars in the kitchen of Locanda Margon; Matteo Delvai, a young chef from Trentino and winner of the "Campionato Italiano Miglior Allievo Istituti Alberghieri" (Italian Championship "Best Student of a Hotel Management School"); Gennaro Esposito, the TV chef: Two Michelin stars at the Torre del Saracino restaurant; Filippo Sinisgalli, executive chef to Hollywood stars; Valeria Raciti, winner of Masterchef Italia 2019 and Josef Steffner, Austrian chef of the Mesnerhaus restaurant. Eleonora Cozzella, food critic and coordinator of the Italian jury of The World's 50 Best Restaurants, will make the weekend even more exciting. Other well-known guests are Peter Brunel (who recently opened a gourmet restaurant in Garda Trentino), Danilo D'Ambra, brilliant and young chef of the Johnson & Dipoli restaurant in Egna (Bolzano) and chef Sebastian Sartorelli of Hosteria Toblino, representative of a fine and elegant cuisine.
But the focus is on you and your journey into the realm of the senses!
