FELIX 2026: Culinary spring in the Traunsee-Almtal valley
Exceptional top female chefs show off their skills under the motto "Women shaping taste"
With its seventh edition, the FELIX Inn Festival is once again turning the Traunsee-Almtal region in the Salzkammergut into a meeting place for connoisseurs. From 19 March to 31 May 2026 more than 20 culinary events are on the program - a tribute to the diversity of the regional tavern and gourmet culture.
The focus of this year's festival is the motto "Women shaping taste". On selected evenings at the Hotel Post am See and the Kranabethhütte, attitude, craftsmanship and uncompromising taste come together. Four evenings, three locations and four outstanding female chefs show how contemporary cuisine is conceived today.
Japanese hospitality on the Feuerkogel
On March 20 and 21, 2026 the Kranabethhütte on the Feuerkogel will be transformed into an alpine ryokan. The Japanese chefs Risa and Yumi bring their culinary home to 1,530 meters above sea level. Cooking, sharing and tasting take place at changing culinary stations - accompanied by Japanese rituals and surprising moments.
Vegetables take center stage
On April 11, 2026 Parvin Razavi will be a guest at the Belétage of the Hotel Post am See . Her cuisine, characterized by Persian roots and a great passion for vegetables, is the focus of a casual chef's choice sharing menu.
Modern pub cuisine
On April 25, 2026 Theresia Palmetzhofer will demonstrate at Poststube 1327 how contemporary, upscale inn cuisine can sound - rooted in classics, interpreted in a modern way.
FELIX 2026 also offers numerous other highlights: culinary boat trips on Lake Traunsee, workshops, visits to producers and cooking courses for children and adults. Classic tavern cuisine meets fine dining, regionality meets international influences.
