Dark beauties: Classic series Macassar

With autumn comes the desire for sounds
that radiate power and depth. The right moment to present three stylish writing instruments from the Graf von Faber-Castell Collection in a color that combines both.

Dark precious woods are in demand like never before.
In combination with metal, a strong connection is now created: The Classic writing instruments from the Graf von Faber-Castell Collection have a brand new look with a finely fluted barrel made from expressively grained Macassar wood. The front and end pieces have a light and dark iridescent PVD coating made of titanium. The rare precious wood Macassar, which is also used to make musical instruments, is extremely hard and therefore difficult to work with. Natural differences in color nuance and structure make each writing instrument unique. The Classic models are highlights not only visually, but also functionally: With their slim shape, they sit very comfortably in the hand, while sophisticated mechanisms such as the spring-loaded clip ensure that their enjoyment is just as timeless as their design. The ensemble includes a fountain pen with a hand-inscribed 18-carat gold nib with ruthenium coating and iridium tip in six nib widths, a rollerball pen with an excellent gliding precision tip, a twist ballpoint pen with a large capacity refill and a mechanical pencil with a 0.7 mm lead and replaceable eraser. Each writing instrument is recommended as a modern, technically high-quality companion for many occasions and years.
