New direct flight ensures a comfortable visit between Vienna and Sylt
From June 28, 2025 Austrian Airlines will connect Vienna directly with Sylt once a week . Until September 6, 2025, an Embraer 195 will fly directly from Vienna to the North Sea island on Saturdays. The outbound flight departs from Vienna at 08:00 and lands on Sylt at 09:40. The return flight departs Sylt at 10:25 a.m., arriving in Vienna at 12:15 p.m. - with a relaxed flight time of 1 hour 40 minutes.
While Sylt residents experience magnificent architecture and cultural diversity in Vienna, Austrian travelers discover the rugged beauty of the dune landscapes and the interplay of the tides on Sylt.
