Dine-around: To celebrate its anniversary, the Belvédère Hotel family is serving a refined array of culinary delights.

Four restaurants, four culinary philosophies, and one seamless hotel experience: In its 150th anniversary year, the Belvédère Hotel family in Scuol is spotlighting its “Dine-around” privilege. Half-board guests may dine across the four restaurants, each championing a distinct culinary concept.

Hotel Belvédère in Scuol will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2026. What began in 1876 as a single hotel has grown into the leading hotel group in the Lower Engadine. In this anniversary year, the Belvédère Hotel Family is focusing not only on a diverse programme of events but also on culinary variety: as part of the “Dine-around” offer, guests can choose from four restaurants and discover the culinary highlights of the hotel family.

Four restaurants, one singular culinary experience

Today, the Belvédère Hotel Family comprises Hotel Belvédère, the 400-year-old Engadine boutique hotel Guardaval, the Belvair spa hotel, and—from late 2026 onwards—the new Plavna Serviced Apartments with a trendy deli-and-bistro concept. Each property boasts its own character—as do the associated restaurants and their distinctively crafted culinary philosophies. The “Dine-around” privilege is extended to overnight guests staying for two nights or more on a half-board basis and is available year-round. Subject to availability and with advance reservation, guests may dine at a different restaurant within the hotel group each evening—at no extra charge to the half-board rate.

The Engadin gourmet restaurant at the Boutique Hotel Guardaval, awarded 14 Gault-Millau points, specializes in uncompromisingly regional Alpine cuisine. The Allegra restaurant at Hotel Belvédère focuses on seasonal products from select regional suppliers and traditional culinary craftsmanship. Under the motto “Il gust dal süd,” the Belvair restaurant serves unpretentious, delicious cuisine from the Mediterranean region. The Nam Thai restaurant at Engadin Bad Scuol, in turn, entices guests with authentic Thai specialties prepared according to original recipes.
“Our hotels are designed to cater to different needs. At the same time, we want to give our guests the freedom to experience the diversity of the Belvédère Hotel Family’s culinary offerings,” says Kurt Baumgartner, owner of the Belvédère Hotel Family. “The ‘dine-around’ concept connects our properties and makes a stay in Scuol even more varied.”
Thanks to the short distances and the direct connections between the hotels—as well as with the Engadin Bad Scuol—visits to the four restaurants can be easily combined.

Jubilant Culinary Milestones

On this day, Chasa Plavna will also be officially opened.
