The internationally renowned beauty and wellness brand expanded its range and spa network in its anniversary year 2018.


Beauty brings the soul to life:
Susanne Kaufmann was fascinated early on by the idea of using the intensive effect of Alpine flora for beauty, health and well-being. With the launch of the "Susanne Kaufmann Spa" at the Hotel Post Bezau, the dream became a successful business model. Today, Susanne Kaufmann's holistic skincare line comprises more than 90 products.


Susanne Kaufmann comes from the Bregenzerwald, a pristine valley in the Alps.
Early on, she was fascinated by the idea of using the intensive effects of the alpine plant world in a modern way for beauty, health and well-being. Together with a team of pharmacists and dermatologists, she developed consistently effective products from precious natural ingredients for the treatments at the Susanne Kaufmann Spa. The products are manufactured with the utmost care in a small factory in the Bregenzerwald and bottled, sealed and packaged by hand.

, bottling by hand, the bond with the employees and their work and, of course, the Bregenzerwald are important components of the production process. In order to meet the high standards, Susanne Kaufmann always acts holistically and according to her own strict principles. Susanne Kaufmann is convinced that her idea of cosmetics meets the needs of more and more people. People who are not only interested in the beauty-enhancing effect of their cosmetics, but also in the healthy and skin-friendly aspect of the care products. Sometimes the skin reacts when switching to natural cosmetics, which can be caused by the detoxification process when the pores are freed from chemical residues. After a period of 28 days, the skin has become accustomed to the change and shows a new, healthy, well-groomed side.

At Hotel Das Stue near Tiergarten in Berlin, the relaxation mantra is: relax, let go, enjoy and indulge in the nurturing and pampering rituals of the Susanne Kaufmann™ Boutique SPA. The focus is on purist and holistic beauty care and original active ingredients that do not contain any chemical additives or colorants. All body and facial treatments are designed for active regeneration and natural anti-ageing.


The secret of Susanne Kaufmann?
The philosophy is to offer modern and effective cosmetic products that consist of natural ingredients from the local Alpine flora. Even the texture should feel like a little luxury for in between. The products are manufactured by Ingo Metzler in the neighboring village. They started with 24 products; now they have over 80 high-quality treatments for face, body and hair and have even won the prestigious Gala Spa Award. No reason for Susanne Kaufmann to rest on her laurels. Quite the opposite: constant further development of the formulas and new beauty innovations are intended to pave the way for success in the future. Because the beauty mission is far from complete.
