A new look for the Imperial Torte
The traditionally square and exquisite Imperial Torte is now available in elegant imperial packaging and in a new fruity variation as Imperial Torte Feine Himbeere.
The Imperial Torte is the Viennese confectionery jewel, as legend has it that it was invented by kitchen boy Xaver Loibner in honor of Emperor Franz Joseph I on the occasion of the opening of the Hotel Imperial in 1873. The kitchen boy guarded the recipe like a treasure and it has always been a secret. However, the taste is still as exquisite today as it was in 1873: delicately melting chocolate icing, a slightly tart almond aroma and the fusion of chocolate cream and marzipan combine to create the perfect composition.
"The preservation of our Imperial Torte tradition
and its continued success have always been a top priority for us. That is why we have worked meticulously and with an eye to the future on the brand positioning and core brand values of our exquisite luxury product together with an internationally renowned brand agency," explains CEO Mario Habicher. "And we were very successful, because the new appearance of our Imperial Torte fascinates the senses."
