The fire whisperer

With the Feuerring, Swiss artist Andreas Reichlin has created a barbecue for great barbecue art.

This is how something new can be created:
When something hits your stomach, it's not a good feeling, both metaphorically and medically. Swiss artist Andreas Reichlin, who could no longer stomach grilled food, thought the same thing. Nevertheless, he wanted to live out his love of fire and food roasted over it. So he created an exquisite barbecue appliance, the Feuerring - a sculptural design in which form and functionality merge to create a revolutionary barbecue experience. With the Feuerring, you can experience enjoyable and above all healthy barbecuing at any time of year around a designer bowl that becomes the focal point of a social gathering. The highlight: the food is not grilled in the embers, but on the hot edge.

In terms of construction, the fire bowl
is made from a special metal sheet, with the ring and bowl elaborately welded together. The result: an object whose design combines aesthetics and functionality. The packaging is sustainable, as the fire ring is sent to customers in a wooden crate. These boards can already be used as firewood for the barbecue. The Feuerring is currently available in 15 sizes - designed for both amateur barbecuers and professional chefs. The latter include celebrity chef Stefan Wiesner, known as "The Magician", who even creates eight-course menus on the barbecue sculpture. Wiesner is known and famous for his culinary experiments and his preference for ethics, aesthetics and ecology - all of which the Feuerring combines. A special recipe book set vividly demonstrates the culinary treasures that can be created on the Feuerring.
