For the first time, Bodega Numanthia and Loewe, two Spanish luxury houses steeped in history, have combined their expertise to create a unique barrel of Termanthia - the domain's emblematic wine. The 225-liter barrel is the equivalent of 300 75-cl bottles, made of French oak and covered in Loewe leather. The Bodega Numanthia by Loewe barrel is a tribute to Spanish craftsmanship and creativity. The barrel, an essential symbol of winemaking, has been reworked to make it a collector's item with a resolutely innovative style.

Located northwest of Madrid in Valdefinjas (Castilla y León province), Bodega Numanthia is a Spanish jewel. Deeply rooted in Spain's history and terroir, the winery is the birthplace of intensely expressive wines and the epitome of the prestigious Toro region of origin. Spain is also the cradle of Loewe and still home to the brand today. The heart of Loewe beats in Madrid, where it continues to produce its world-famous leather goods. Customers will have the unique opportunity to personalize their barrel with a Loewe calfskin selection, available in five different shades and specially selected by the House, and have their initials applied to the barrel using leather marquetry - a technique that requires extreme precision.


This exceptional barrel
is available on request and will be delivered to the buyer's home together with Termanthia 2016, Bodega Numanthia's finest wine, from December 2018 - bottled in 75 cl, 150 cl, 5 l or 12 l formats, depending on the future owner's wishes. Sourced from 140-year-old vines, the 2016 Termanthia vintage is ageing quietly in the Bodega Numanthia cellars and already promises an exceptionally fruity concentration, remarkable freshness, intense structure and wonderful balance.
