Mountain summer on the Arlberg
In St. Anton, the Alps show themselves from their most beautiful side - with many events for every taste.
In the mountain world around the 1,793 m high Arlberg Pass - where the Austrian federal states of Tyrol and Vorarlberg meet - everyday life becomes a distant memory. Unspoilt nature, cozy, sophisticated villages and a remarkable variety of experiences welcome guests who are looking for relaxation - and find (mental) exercise: hiking and cycling, climbing and golfing, stopping for a bite to eat and being amazed.
St. Anton, St. Christoph, Stuben, Lech Zürs: the names of the Arlberg villages have a radiance that reaches around the globe - as the birthplaces of Alpine skiing and as first-class winter sports destinations in the heart of Europe. But not everyone (yet) knows that the mythical aura of the Arlberg also has a very special effect in summer. From the green valley floor right up to the jagged rocky ridges, forests, alpine meadows, emerald green lakes and mountain streams open up a sensory experience. Hikers, mountain bikers, e-bikers and climbers are surrounded by a healing silence as they venture far into the Verwall Group and Lechtal Alps on marked paths and routes. Good to know: Thanks to modern summer cable cars, the top floor of the Arlberg can be reached quickly and easily by all vacation guests.
