Art meeting! ART SALZBURG CONTEMPORARY & ANTIQUES INTERNATIONAL September 27 to 29, 2019, Hall 1, Messezentrum Salzburg

International contemporary art
and selected antiques from the 19th to 21st centuries are the focus of ART SALZBURG CONTEMPORARY & ANTIQUES INTERNATIONAL, which will be held for the third time this fall. The top-class sister fair of ART INNSBRUCK will take place for the first time parallel to the new image-boosting lifestyle event Heritage World weekend from September 27 to 29 at Messezentrum Salzburg. For art fair entrepreneur Johanna Penz, ART SALZBURG CONTEMPORARY has developed rapidly over the past two years: "The response has been enormous. Our valued audience in Salzburg can look forward to a great mix of internationally active galleries and art dealers from Europe".


As a special highlight
the ambitious fair organizer has engaged the well-known Berlin Wall painter Kiddy Citny as a performing artist. "Kiddy Citny will be our ambassador for ART SALZBURG CONTEMPORARY this year. Because just as it is our declared aim to bring art to the people, Kiddy also wants to win people's hearts and souls for art." Kiddy Citny's three-day performance will mark the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
In his three-day performance to mark the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, Kiddy Citny will create a three-part triptych in which he imagines a hopeful outlook for the future based on his experiences and insights from the past. The title of his project: "Into the Future". Another exciting ART special is dedicated to the anniversary "100 years of Bauhaus - a brilliant idea for modern art", which is curated and designed by Galerie Dikmayer Berlin Mitte.
